tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432747512136647685.post6909357042556960170..comments2024-03-21T20:44:46.883-06:00Comments on Thriving with Neurofibromatosis: Beating DepressionNF Mommyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13559650798413176925noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432747512136647685.post-77818073435707974002009-10-08T17:04:29.744-06:002009-10-08T17:04:29.744-06:00hey kristi, boy sometimes I feel we were meant to ...hey kristi, boy sometimes I feel we were meant to meet.I never take these gloves off except to write a letter.depression is always so close sometimes but all of your reasons and our kids keep us from that issue. my mom too is a depressed woman who doesn't even admit it.she goes through life like nothing is wrong.happy with her man of 29 yrs, 4 kids that don't get along, a daughter w a disease that will never go away.she never wants to talk about it and she carries guilt with her for so many reasons that it is impossible to break it down and the worst depressed person is one who won't admit it.the abuse at home from my dad hitting her,the lack of taking me to the drs every 6 months by NF1 drs. the running around and not taking care of bills and anything else.she allowed my father to do horrible things to her.and then let him move back in when I was a teen which lead to my moving out of my home.luckly my guardian worked @ columbia presbyterian. that's when I started to see a neurologist and have been since.sometimes I just don't so anything because she will not acknowledge it. she tells all her children to seek help but she won't get help. sad. but enough about that how are you doing ?
